1982 - 1992:
- The Vietnam Technique Import Export Corporation (TECHNIMEX) was founded in 06-Oct-1982 under the decision no. 212/QD issued by
the Vietnam State Commitee for Sciences and Technics (VSCST), and signed by Mr. Dang Huu, the chairman of VSCST.
- At this time, the company had only 3 members on the area of 16m2 with 3 tables !
Its dedicated functionality and missions were make direct contacts, negotiating, signing and carrying out the contracts in scientific and technique cooperation
which were among the agreements between the Vietnam State and other foreign coutries.
- During the period of 10 years, 1982-1992, the Company carried out many contracts in exchanging scientists, experts, transfering the achievements, the scientific works;
set up many courses for scientific experts, professors and students with former Soviet Union and other socialist countries.
1993 - 2001:
- On Feb-1993, the minister of Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (MOSTE) decided to reform the Vietnam Techique
Import Export Corporation (TECHNIMEX) under the Decision no. 388/HDBT issued by Vietnam Ministers Council. Till the May-1996, MOSTE decided to
merge the Nuclear Energy and Application Developing Company (NEAD) into TECHNIMEX along with other administrating reforms. The reforms created
new advantages for TECHNIMEX in varying its activities in manufacturing, commercing, consulting and constructing businesses.
- The company was consisted of:
+ Specialized departments,
+ Two centers for carrying out the technology transfers, scientific services: NEAD and New Technology Application Development (NETED),
+ A Branch in Ho Chi Minh city.
The activities of the company was divided in to main fields:

1- Technology transfers:
Invested from the developing funds for production, along with the research bases, the scientists took the experiments, testing...,
application researches for pratice and actual manufaturing.
2- Scientific services:
- Consulting entities in investing the applicable scientific achievements in the fields of technics, health, geology, agriculture and communications,
construction, telecommunication and information science, e.t.c
- Investing centrally in infrastructure and equipments for the centers which will assure
the full capacity in technology transfers.
3- Import and export activities:
- Researched and imported the equipments, apparatuses which are manufactured with newest technology
which met the requirements in research, environment protection and other measurer and testers.
- Searched and export the domestic high-quality goods (e.g: balances, electrical motors) into the foreign markets like Japan and ASEAN's countries.
December-2001 - Present:
The December 2001 had signed a significant mark when by the Decision no. 2625/QĐ-BKHCNMT dated 20-Nov-2001,
the minister of the MOSTE change the legal type of TECHNIMEX from state-own enterprise into a new joint stock company.
The Technique Import Export Joint Stock Company - TECHNIMEX JSC is a entity who inherits all the estate, rights and liabilities and the history
of its former Vietnam Technique Import Export Corporation (TECHNIMEX).
To meet the updated and daily-increasing needs of new technology in researchs, experiments and applications,
TECHNIMEX JSC has specialized its business into 3 main fields:
- Supply of high-quality equipments and tools for experiments. Those are instruments in
biotechnology, genomics and health care. More others are equipments in investigating and research the environment, agriculture, forestry, pouldry, fisheries,
water resources, others for physic-chemical and materials testers.
The Company also supplies pure chemicals for experiments.
- Supply of scientific information products as books, journals and magazines, orginal copy of materials under many
format like printed, CD-Rom, DVD-Rom and Online...
- Co-operation with other partners in supplying medical equipments, informatics and telecommunicated machines,
remote visual learning solutions, freezers, air-coolers, industrial and civil electrical apparatuses, high-grade welding machines, constructing equipments, e.t.c
