Nanotechnology holds the potential to revolutionize many important scientific fields, ranging from biology to medicine. The combination of nanotechology and molecular biology opens the door to many exciting possibilities for the detection and manipulation of molecules using nanodevices, holding high promise for both medical and biological research, as well as providing practical applications at the cellular level. NanoBiotechology is a new peer-reviewed scientific journal, to be published quarterly commencing in 2005, that provides a multidisciplinary forum for state-of-the-art nanobiotechnological methods, instrumentation, and research.
