The Ping G15 fairway wood is constructed of 17-4 stainless steel with an elongated, low profile design that offers forgiveness and inspires confidence from address. G15 fairway wood is  features an external weight pad on the sole that positions the center of gravity lower and deeper to produce higher trajectories and more distance.
 
The G15 fairway wood also features an external sole weight pad which redistributes weight at the bottom of the clubhead and helps move the CG lower and further back in the fairway wood to provide both a high launch rate and a very low spin rate.
